Sexy Cuban William Levy on Life in Cuba
Cuban born sexy sensation William Levy has salsa danced into our hearts on "Dancing With the Stars," but while this Cuban actor and former underwear model seems to be on top of the world now, his life wasn't always so glamorous.
Thirty one year old William Levy, talks about growing up in Havana, Cuba, and spending much of his childhood hungry. He told America TV that every family's food was rationed, and with each person allocated a daily portion of bread, and a quarter of a chicken each month. Children were also given a milk ration until they turned 3. As a teenager, Levy said he dreams of escaping on a raft and risking his life to get to the United States.
"It's a do-or-die situation," he said. "You can't just stay there and just let people step all over you."
He was 14 when his family was granted political asylum in the U.S. and moved to Miami. Levy said he remembers being thunder-struck on his first trip to the grocery store.
"I never saw an apple before in my life," he said, laughing. "Strawberry, I never saw before in my life."
"My uncle told me, you know, just go ahead, get this little cart and go ahead and get whatever you want," he continued. "So I saw a box of strawberries. I open, I get a strawberry and I get an apple…my uncle started crying, you know, but laughing at me."
Levy said the experience of leaving Cuba and coming to the U.S. taught him to appreciate how lucky he is.
"Every time I eat, I think about it, 'Oh my God, imagine if I ate this in Cuba,'" he said. "You get to enjoy so much everything you do. For me, life is incredible."
But much has changed since Levy was that skinny little boy from Cuba who was teased when he first arrived in Florida.
He played baseball in college and bulked up, which didn't hurt his career as an underwear model.
Levy got into acting almost a decade ago and is now arguably the king of the tele novela, the massively popular genre of Spanish-language soap operas with a loyal global audience.
Levy's reputation as a lady-killer has caught headlines over the years. Rumors swirled that Levy was having an affair with Jennifer Lopez after he starred as her love interest in her music video, "I'm Into You." At the time, J.Lo was going through a divorce from then-husband Marc Anthony. But Levy denied the affair.
"I wish I could explain," he said. "I try to live my life and, you know, try to keep doing what I'm doing, and not let these things or comments get in my head."
But much of his life has been chronicled on the covers of Spanish People magazine, including his long-term relationship with Mexican-American actress Elizabeth Gutierrez. The couple has two children together, but Levy said he is not ready to get married. At least not yet.
"Right now I'm pretty comfortable in, you know, in my position that I have now," he said.

PITBULL Armando Christian Pérez Cuban American Superstar from Miami Havana
Pitbull the Cuban-AMERICAN singer, song writer, record producer was born Armando Christian Pérez to immigrant Cuban parents on January 15, 1981. Armando Perez, The Pitbull, was influenced by  Miami's Cuban hip hop scene and has credited Cuban singing legend Celia Cruz and Willy Chirino as heros for his love of Cuban music. Pitbull's Cuban parents separated when he was 10 years old, and he was raised by his single Cuban mother and spent time with a foster family in Roswell, Georgia. Pitbulls Cuban mother kicked him out of their house at age 16 for dealing drugs like his father. He barely graduated from Miami Coral Park High School. After high school Pitbull abandoned the drug dealing and finally focused on his music career instead of drugs. He found it hard to crack the Hip-Hop music genre because he is white, from the South and  of coarse Cuban. Not the best pedigree to crack the mostly American black hip hop scene of New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles or Miami.

The "Pitbull" stage name, was a way for Armando Perez to say to the music world of non believers this dog PIT BULL will bite to lock to the death. This Pitbull is just too dam stupid to lose. This Pitbull dog, is everything that I am. It's been a constant fight says Pitbull who was featured on Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz' "Oye" in 2 Fast 2 Furious. Emilio Estefan, Jr., (born in Cuba on March 4, 1953) is a Cuban musician and producer of Lebanese ancestry. Estefan's first taste of celebrity came as a member of the Miami Sound Machine, but he is currently better known as the producer of many famous singers. In 1968, Estefan moved to the United States, where he shared an apartment with 15 family members. He earned a living by running errands for neighbors, using an old car. Estefan then began to work at local beauty contests, and at Bacardi, where he was employed as a mailroom worker. He reached the position of the company's Latin marketing department. Emilio's real passion, however, remained with music. He started a group which became known as the "Miami Latin Boys". The group had success, being hired to play at multiple private parties and events around Miami. It was during one such event in 1975 that Emilio met Gloria Estefan, then Gloria Fajardo. He asked her to join their group, and the group was renamed "Miami Sound Machine". In 1977, Gloria decided to join the band. In the band, Miami Sound Machine, Emilio played the accordion. In 1978, Emilio and Gloria Estefan were married. By the early 1980s, the group, which also included Cristina Saralegui's future husband Marcos, had become a major international band, with such songs as "Get On Your Feet" and "Conga" becoming number one hits in many countries. The group's success came after Emilio had signed them to an exclusive contract with CBS Records. In 1980, the couple's first son, Nayib, was born. He has gone on to follow in his father's footsteps as a music producer. After Gloria Estefan decided to leave the group and embark on a solo career in 1987, Emilio Estefan made the decision to become a full time music producer. The success that Gloria Estefan experienced as a solo singer made Emilio Estefan a popular producer among Hispanic singers. He began to arrange albums for a wide array of singers, and the Estefans became friends with their compatriots, Celia Cruz and Pedro Knight. By the late 1980s, the Estefans already owned a mansion in one of Miami's exclusive neighborhoods' and Emilio Estefan owned a studio. In 1994, a daughter, Emily, was born to Emilio and Gloria Estefan. She has already expressed interest in the show business world. In 1995, one student from Howard University was killed and another was injured when their personal water craft collided with the Estefans' pleasure boat. . In 2002, Estefan began to produce the Grammy Latino Awards, a yearly ceremony that is televised. In 2003, an actor alleged that Emilio Estefan had harassed him, but the actor turned out to really be a stalker; he was arrested by Miami police while trying to illegally enter the Estefan mansion. On August 24, 2005, Estefan and well known rap singer P. Diddy announced the joint creation of a new record label, to help Hispanic rap singers. In November it was announced that Emilio will be the Executive Producer for Jennifer Lopez's first Spanish album entitled Como Ama Una Mujer due for released in January 2006.
